Springtime is newly born animals, primroses and daffodils in meadows of lush grass. Crops are planted in newly ploughed fields. May sees woodland carpeted with bluebells and flowering gorse and heathers on common land. The task of getting in next winters fodder begins. |
| Summer is flowering scented hedgerows and sweet smelling hay. The corn crops begin to ripen and turn golden. Lazy days on the beach or cycling in the lanes. Cream teas and Barbecues and warm evenings sat in the garden. Village Fetes, Agricultural and animal shows or Craft fairs. | ![]() |
| Autumn heralds the end of the growing season. The crops are gathered in. A purple haze of heather covers moor land. Trees transform to colours of gold and bronze and shed their load. The illuminated Carnival processions get into full swing every Saturday night. Animals are brought into the farmyard into their winter home and start on the fodder that has been gathered through the summer for them. |
