Two 4 Star Award Winning Holiday Cottages in Devon

Relax in the Beautiful Garden Decorated to a High Standard Real Log Burners Bathroom Comfortable Bedrooms

Sympathetically Converted Barn Holiday Cottages - Ideal for Family Holidays  & Couples

Our Grade 2 listed historical stables have been sympathetically converted in to two 4 star holiday cottages named Otter Holt and Owl Hayes. The holiday cottages were named in recognition of the beautiful local wildlife.  Both neighbouring cottages have been decorated to a high standard  and although they have a  modern feel we have felt it important to keep some of the original beams and hay racks, making  them quite unique and very interesting.

Spacious Lounge

Each cottage has a lovely light spacious lounge with French doors that leads to its own garden and patio area.  The well equipped modern kitchens have all the mod cons (including dishwasher, washer/dryer) that you would expect in a 4 star cottage.  You will find the bathroom upstairs along with two bedrooms, one being a double room and the other a twin.

Comfortable Bedrooms

Both holiday cottages  enjoy spectacular views of Blackdown Hills,  which is an  area of outstanding natural beauty which has been designated as an area unique for it small farmsteads, unspoilt character and worthy of preserving its heritage.

Patio Area

In summary each holiday cottage includes the following:

If you need to keep the children occupied

There is always something interesting to do at Godford Farm for the children. They may want to look around the farm or just enjoy the countryside. We have baby calves all year round, so if you let us know we may be able let them help with feeding. Walking through the fields will be exciting as there are lots of different things to see and the chance to be close up to wildlife and see many hedgerow flowers.  Please bring wellingtons.

As well as an assortment of toys in each cottages there is something for children of all ages.

For toddlers we have an outside play area with rockers, a play house, a slide and sandpit and much much more.

For rainy days or to pass the time the games barn is always a favourite  where you will find bar skittles, table tennis table and a pool table.

Outside we have a large orchard garden for ball games and other outside games we have available.
